At Loader Parts Source we have an outstanding team who are dedicated to their work. We would not be able to run as efficiently and smoothly if it weren’t for these team members and Jennifer Chamberlin is no exception. We sat down with Jennifer to discuss her role, hobbies, and what she looks forward to most in her career.
What do you do at Loader Parts Source and what is your job title?
I am the Director of Data Management. We work on the website and provide information behind the scenes.
What do you like the most about working at LPS?
LPS has really helped me grow not only professionally, but also in my everyday life as well. They push you to be your best self and are always willing to help you along the way.
What did you do before LPS and what made you choose to switch to LPS?
Before LPS I used to cut hair and then I worked in a factory that molded automotive parts. The culture LPS provides is what made me really say I wanted to work here. The people here care about you, your family, and how things are going. It’s a common thing to have someone stop by just to see how you’re doing, which really gives it a big family feel. I also get to have my nights and weekends off to spend with my family and friends, which was a big switch from when I was working almost every weekend.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My husband and I have an almost 3-month-old daughter and our son will be turning 2 in April, so I spend a lot of my time with them. We also have our dog, Diego, and our cats: Phyr, Smeagol, Lotus, and Kida. All of them are rescues except for Kida, who is my hairless Sphynx cat. When I get a few minutes to myself I also enjoy gaming, reading, painting, or doing hair.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
We are currently working on some upgrades for our home, so having that finished will be exciting. Other than looking forward to watching my kids learn and grow, I’m excited to get out on the lake this summer and spend the weekends relaxing with friends and family, too.
